I use the 8 inch with 2 1/2 oz, depending on how low i want to ride.

Not saying this is what the guy wants it for but.....
From what ive seen at the lakes in the early months, people who try to snag fish on purpose use larger weights and hooks....
I seen a guy use a 3oz sinker with a 7/0 hook and snag over 50 fish.... |

I like using the 8" Thills with a 2oz sinker.... Mainly because on long cast it's easier for me to tell exactly when i'm on bottom.
I tried the 6" Thills and i don't like them nearly as much, just a little too small for me. |

Thank's for the offer but, I usually use the 8" w/2 oz. I had heard they had a new float out and wanted to try something new. |
